Hampshire Hawks take on Victoria in their final group match of the Global Super League
Hampshire v Kent
LV= Insurance County Championship (Division One)
Tuesday 20th September – Friday 23rd September (10:30am Start)
The Ageas Bowl
Hampshire welcome Kent to The Ageas Bowl for their final home game of their 2022 LV= Insurance County Championship campaign.
James Vince’s side have won their last four matches, including a dramatic innings victory over Northamptonshire last time out, and currently sit in second place just eight points behind Division One leaders Surrey.
Meanwhile, Kent occupy eighth place and are only outside the relegation places by having more wins (2) than ninth placed Warwickshire (1).
The two met at Canterbury earlier this season where Ben Brown and Liam Dawson recorded career best scores of 157 and 171 respectively, with Vince also registering a century, as Hampshire won by an innings and 51 runs. Keith Barker took six wickets in the first innings and Kyle Abbott recorded his first five-wicket haul of the season in the second.
Hampshire Squad
Hampshire have named a 14-player squad for the match against Kent.
Felix Organ (71) and Aneurin Donald (94) impressed with the bat in the last match against Northamptonshire while Kyle Abbott also added important lower-order runs with an unbeaten 57.
The bowling attack shone again as Keith Barker and Mohammad Abbas picked up six and five wickets across both innings, respectively.
Mason Crane makes a return to the squad, with Liam Dawson dropping out given his involvement with the England squad for their IT20 series in Pakistan.
