Metro Bank One Day Cup
Wednesday 24 June (10:30am start)
Utilita Bowl
Hampshire Women host Warwickshire in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, with the final round before the Vitality Blast returns on Friday 26 June.
Georgia Adams’ side have been in incredible form in the competition, with seven wins from their ten matches.
Last time out against Essex, Bex Tyson claimed three wickets with Naomi Dattani, Hannah Hardwick, and Amanda-Jade Wellington picking up two each as the hosts were bowled out for 245.
Then the records were smashed as Ella McCaughan and Maia Bouchier both notched up unbeaten centuries to chase down the target without losing a wicket.
It was the first time in the Women’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup that a team had won by ten wickets along with the duo scoring the highest opening partnership in the competition and the highest overall partnership.
Warwickshire fell to defeat in their previous match, as they lost by seven wickets against Somerset.
Amu Surenkumar stood out with her 58, with 30s from overseas signing Georgia Redmayne and Katie George, but the Bears were bowled out for just 160 at Exmouth.
Loanee seamer Alexa Stonehoue picked up 1/31 with captain Georgia Davis claiming the same figures, but the Wyverns chased the target down with ease to earn a bonus point win.
The last time Hampshire and Warwickshire faced up, the Bears powered their way to 354/7 thanks to the top six all scoring fifties, before persistent rain meant no second innings could begin.
Hampshire have named a 13-player squad for their Metro Bank One-Day Cup match against Warwickshire.
Ella McCaughan is with England A after her and Maia Bouchier both scored centuries as they chased 246 against Essex without losing a wicket.
Amanda-Jade Wellington returns following the T20 County Cup match against Glamorgan.
Lauren Bell, Freya Kemp, Linsey Smith, and Pippa Sproul are all in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup action.
Daisy Gibb remains injured.

Captain: Georgia Davis
Head coach: Ali Maiden
2026 standings: 3rd
2026 highest run-scorer: Charis Pavely (470)
2026 highest wicket-taker: Charis Pavely, Mary Taylor, Georgia Davis, Hannah Baker (11)
Winter moves: The Bears have signed all-rounders Mary Taylor from Hampshire, and Alex Stonehouse on loan from Surrey, while spinner Phoebe Brett has signed her first rookie contract. Aussie wicketkeeper-batter Georgia Redmayne, signed for the T20 tournament, will play three 50-over games before the Vitality Blast.
The big question: Can Warwickshire translate their impressive 20-over cricket from last season into the longer format? Having signed players who will strengthen the team in all departments and, crucially, bring experience to what is still a largely young squad, the Bears have the potential to challenge in the longer game in 2026.
Player to watch: Phoebe Brett – the 17-year-old left-armer is the latest addition to a spin attack of enviable depth and variety and impressed when her opportunities came along last season. Her control and wicket-taking skills have drawn comparison with Sophie Ecclestone.
Final thought: Last season, Warwickshire found themselves playing catch-up too often as the powerplays at the start of each innings went against them. Their skills shone in the T20. Taking wickets up front with the ball and not losing wickets in the powerplay has been a big focus in the pre-season preparation.
