Match Preview: Hampshire Hawks v Victoria, GSL 2024
Hampshire Hawks take on Victoria in their final group match of the Global Super League
Southern Vipers will look to maintain their winning start to the 2017 Kia Super League when they travel to Loughborough Lightning on Tuesday afternoon.
Southern Vipers Squad:
Southern Vipers have named an unchanged 12-player squad from their victory over Western Storm on the opening day of the tournament, with Ellen Burt being named alongside the final XI that featured on Thursday afternoon. Suzie Bates will be looking to continue her fine form which saw her take two wickets and hit an unbeaten 47 at the The Ageas Bowl last week.
The Opposition:
Loughborough Lightning are searching for a second consecutive Finals Day appearance in this year’s competition, but suffered a five-wicket defeat to Western Storm in their opening game. Last year’s semi-finalists have retained Ellyse Perry after losing Dane van Niekerk and Sophie Devine, but they have recruited her Australian team-mates Kristen Beams and Elyse Velani for this year’s campaign.
