Match Preview: Hampshire Hawks v Victoria, GSL 2024
Hampshire Hawks take on Victoria in their final group match of the Global Super League
South East Stars v Southern Vipers
Charlotte Edwards Cup
Sunday 2nd June 2024 (1:30pm start)
Kia Oval
Southern Vipers return to the Kia Oval for the first time since 2020 as they take on South East Stars in another T20 double header.
The Vipers completed a comfortable victory against Western Storm at Utilita Bowl on Vitality Blast Off day, with Georgias Elwiss and Adams both scoring 40s whilst Charli Knott claimed her best T20 figures of 4-28.
Rhianna Southby provided yet another masterclass behind the stumps as she took a record-equalling three stumpings in a Charlotte Edwards Cup match – two off the bowling of Knott.
South East Stars completed a comfortable victory against Northern Diamonds at Chester-le-Street, where 16-year-old spinner Tilly Courteen-Coleman took four wickets in four balls to bowl the Diamonds for 124.
Captain Bryony Smith then smashed 57* off 41 to help see the Stars over the line with four overs to go.
Southern Vipers Squad
Southern Vipers have named a 14-player squad for their drive up the M3.
Freya Kemp has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury she sustained against Western Storm.
Seamer Poppy Tulloch returns to the squad.

South East Stars
South East Stars currently sit second in the Charlotte Edwards Cup this year, with three wins and a no result seeing them on 15 points.
Their opening pair of Bryony Smith and Sophia Dunkley is a formidable one, and arguably the strongest in the country, with a middle order consisting of ex-Vipers Paige Scholfield and Chloe Hill, along with Surrey’s Aylish Cranstone.
Their bowling attack too looks strong on paper, with the experienced Tash Farrant leading the seam attack with the exciting Ryana Macdonald-Gay and Phoebe Frankling alongside, whilst Dani Gregory and Kalea Moore are accurate with their spin, with Tilly Courteen-Coleman offering something different with her left arm orthodox.
