Monday Moments: Another Fidel Five-Fer

Fidel Edwards (5-49) blew away Yorkshire's tail on a rain-hit day one of Hampshire's County Championship at Headingley in May 2019

8 June 2020

We’re kicking off each week in style as we celebrate a special moment from the 2019 season every Monday.

Hampshire - having been beaten in the Royal London One-Day Cup at Lord's two days prior, made the trip to Headingley to face Yorkshire in a County Championship match.

Yorkshire won the toss and elected to bat but stumbled to 65-3, with only Kohler-Cadmore (45) threatening a half century. David Willey made 34 on a rain-interrupted day but Fidel Edwards (5-49) ripped through the tail as the hosts lost their final five wickets for just 11 runs as they were bowled out for 181.
