Match Preview: Hampshire Hawks v The Blaze & Middlesex, Vitality Blast Double Header
Hawks Men can guarantee a spot in the top two of the South Group, whilst Hawks Women require just one victory to reach Finals Day
Hampshire Cricket announced, in January, the return of our highly successful training courses for young cricketers, starting with six sessions in the February 2023 half term at The Ageas Bowl.
The courses, which aim to develop future generations of cricketers, have not taken place for three years after a break due to the Covid pandemic.
Held at The Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire Cricket, gives youngsters the chance to train at an international cricket venue which is purpose built for the sport.
Furthermore, attendees will have access to highly qualified and experienced ECB Level 2 and 3 coaches, as well as the use of Merlin, Trueman, Professional and Fielding Machines – subject to status.
Also, where available and appropriate, there may be opportunities for photos with trophies and/or current playing staff.
Due to their popularity, 12 extra places have been added to the Hardball & Softball T20 Skills courses, for School Years 5-8, meaning there are now 36 places in total. The rest of the courses remain at a maximum of 24 places.
Meanwhile, the Softball Game Based Courses have now been opened up to School Years 2-6.
