Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also hosting England internationals and the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in 2026.

Join Hampshire as they compete in the traditional four-day Rothesay County Championship competition, ahead of both men's and women's sides turning attention to the action-packed Vitality Blast T20 competition as Hampshire Hawks in May-July.

Hampshire then return to compete in the Metro Bank One Day Cup - the 50-over competition in which both sides finished runners-up in 2025 - and the Final of the Women's competition, to be hosted once again at Utilita Bowl on Saturday 19th September 2026.

July and August will once again see The Hundred land at Utilita Bowl for four spectacular men's and women's double header matchdays.

Cricket’s greatest rivalry will then arrive at Utilita Bowl in 2027, as England and Australia go head-to-head in an Ashes Test Match, which promises to be one of the biggest and most in-demand sporting occasions ever hosted at the venue.

Sonny Baker Awarded England Men’s Development Contract

Hampshire's 21-year-old fast bowler has been awarded a Men’s Development Contract

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has awarded Hampshire fast bowler Sonny Baker a Men’s Development Contract, which will run until September 2025. He joins fellow Hampshire bowler, John Turner, who is also on a Development Contract.

Baker, 21, will join Hampshire for the start of the 2025 season after previously playing for Somerset. The pace bowler has excelled over the winter, culminating in a successful England Lions tour of Australia last month, which caught the attention of the England Men’s High-Performance staff team.

The former England Under-19 international has also excited England Lions Head Coach Andrew Flintoff, who has been impressed by Baker’s professionalism and his commitment to excelling in the Lions set-up.

It has been an absolute pleasure to see Sonny thrive over the winter. He and I are very different in character and personality, but it has been a delight to see the pride he takes in wearing the Three Lions, the energy he brings to every ball, and the theatre and magic he creates on the pitch.

His professionalism and dedication to every aspect of his game are an example to all. Sonny has a bright future ahead, and we look forward to continuing to work with him and Hampshire over the coming years.
