This October will see The Ageas Bowl 10k return for the first time since 2019, and the road race will be raising funds for the Hampshire Cricket Foundation.
The race – hosted in partnership with Running Mania, Ageas and the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre – arrives at The Ageas Bowl on Sunday 9th October 2022 and will see runners start and finish the 10k route against the unique backdrop of The Ageas Bowl.
This year’s edition will be the first hosted since 2019 with the venue’s proceeds from the race going to Hampshire Cricket’s official charity, the Hampshire Cricket Foundation. The charity has recently been fundraising for Southampton Hospitals Charity and has donated over £100,000 to help support the construction of a specialist rehabilitation space within the GICU at University Hospital Southampton.
We’re looking forward to the return of The Ageas Bowl 10k this October, a race which offers the unique opportunity to start and finish within the inspirational setting of a world-class sports and entertainment venue.
David Mann, The Ageas Bowl Chief Executive
The race supports the work of the Hampshire Cricket Foundation - which has generated over £1,300,000 in charitable income since its inception in 2012 – and continues to raise vital funds for local causes.
