The Ageas Bowl To Host Exclusive Ashes Sleepover Event!
The stylish event, which will be staged in partnership with Hilton will see a host of VIP guests invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment ahead of the England's first Test match v Australia
The Ageas Bowl are pleased to be hosting an exclusive Ashes Sleepover event this week, to mark the start of the 2017/18 Ashes between England and Australia.
The stylish event, which will be staged in partnership with Hilton, will take place on Wednesday (22nd November) within the venue’s Hilton hotel, and will see a host of VIP guests invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment ahead of the series-opening fixture down under.
Guests will first enjoy an Australian-themed three-course meal in BEEFY’S, the restaurant and bar inspired by Sir Ian Botham, before taking in a Q&A with former England Internationals, Nick Knight and Marcus Trescothick, who will be on hand to provide insight and anecdotes throughout the evening alongside former Hampshire all-rounder, Kevan James,.
A selection of attendees will then enjoy a luxurious overnight stay in the hotel’s Ageas Media Centre, which includes a unique viewing of the first day’s coverage of England v Australia at Brisbane, as well as a pre-match showing of a cricket-themed film courtesy of The Luna Cinema.
The screenings of both the film and the live Ashes action will be viewed by guests from their very own Hilton bed within the Media Centre, where they’ll be able to take in play at their leisure.

This Wednesday’s event follows on the heels of a record-breaking on-sale period early this year for the The Ageas Bowl’s Test match between England and India next summer, with this unprecedented demand expected to continue with tickets now on general sale.
