Kids Go Free For Hampshire’s Season Openers
Kids go free across the Easter weekend (3–6 April) as Hampshire host Essex in the Rothesay County Championship, with the same offer available for Hampshire Women’s season opener on 11 April.
With the Hampshire Hawks announcing the signing of hard hitting Australian top order batter Ben McDermott for this summer’s Vitality Blast we decided to pull together some of his best highlights.
The hard-hitting opener has signed a contract to join up with James Vince’s Hawks for the 2022 T20 campaign.
McDermott made his Big Bash League (BBL) debut in 2014 for Brisbane Heat and, since then, the 27-year-old has garnered a reputation as one of the most powerful and dangerous short-format batters in the world, notching a total of 2,374 runs at an average of 32.52 in 89 T20 innings.
Catch Ben in Vitality Blast action with a Blast Passport, available at a discounted Super Early Bird price of just £99.
A Blast Passport grants admission to all seven Hampshire Hawks matches at The Ageas Bowl, including the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend ‘el clasicoast’ clash against Sussex Sharks.
