Liam Dawson

It was another impressive performance from Dawson against Durham. Having made 35 with the bat, he then bowled 66 overs in the Durham innings - the most he has ever bowled in a first class match. As a result, he took his second five-for of the season, which included some important wickets, such as Alex Lees and the in-form Ollie Robinson.

Felix Organ

Organ made his return to the First XI, since his last appeareance at the back end of last season against Essex. He seemed in good touch in the first innings, scoring 32 before being run out, and then took four Durham wickets with the ball - including their skipper Scott Borthwick. The all-rounder then batted again on day four, steadying the ship with an unbeaten 18 from 99 balls.

Ali Orr

New signing Ali Orr had been looking to announce his arrival with a score and came into the match with a determination to perform. He was able to do exactly that, leading the Hampshire innings with a fantastic 126 from 211 balls. His innings included 19 fours and is his fifth first class hundred.

Tom Prest

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a positive start to the 2024 season, relishing his opportunity in the First XI. He continued this form with a sensational century, scoring 102 from 163 balls - which included 14 fours and two sixes. It is Prest's seconnd first class ton for Hampshire and takes his season total up to 261 runs, at an average of 52.20.
