Joseph Eckland And Daisy Mullan Released
Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
Vitality Blast champions Ross Whiteley and Brad Wheal were both signed by new teams in the 2023 Hundred draft.
Batter Whiteley, who won the inaugural edition of The Hundred with Southern Brave, was signed by Oval Invincibles in the £60,000 bracket, whilst fast bowler Wheal has moved from London Spirit to Trent Rockets.
Last season in The Hundred, Whiteley scored 150 runs, the second most for Southern Brave, at a strike rate of 142.85, whilst Wheal played three matches for London Spirit and took one wicket.
Several Hampshire players were retained by their franchises prior to the draft, including James Vince (Southern Brave), Liam Dawson (London Spirit), and Benny Howell (Birmingham Phoenix).
