Hawks Men make the trip up the M3 to the Kia Oval as they take on Surrey in the Vitality Blast
Due to high demand, the The Ageas Bowl have released a third stage of additional seating taking capacity to 21,000 for England’s Royal London One-Day International against Australia on Thursday 3 September, which will be first ODI between the two fierce rivals this summer.
Priced from £65 for adults and £10 for Under 17’s, these newly available seats are expected to be snapped up quickly after the undoubted success of the sold-out ODI at the home of Hampshire Cricket between England and New Zealand on Sunday 14 June.
It’s an exciting time for England in One-Day cricket at the moment and I think that’s reflected in the demand for tickets for this match. We’ve had fantastic feedback from the last ODI a couple of weeks ago and we can’t wait to put on another brilliant spectacle for the fiercest rivalry in world cricket.
Stuart Robertson, The Ageas Bowl Commercial Director
Demand for our two ODIs this summer has been strong from the moment we went on sale in October and we expect these additional 2,000 seats to sell within the next two weeks and would therefore urge anybody wishing to come, to move quickly.
The ODI will be just the second international match to be played in-front of the completed Hilton Hotel at the northern end of the ground, which opened at the start of May.
Situated an hour or less away from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Reading, the The Ageas Bowl is easily accessible for anyone living in the South of England. With excellent transport links from all major stations in the area, as well as a Park & Ride Scheme, it couldn’t be easier to get to and from the ground.
These newly available tickets can be purchased online, over the phone on 0844 847 1863 or in person from the The Ageas Bowl Ticketing and Membership Office during normal working hours.
