Barbados Pre-Season Tour Announced for 2016

Hampshire will return to Barbados for a sixth consecutive pre-season

14 December 2015

Hampshire Cricket are pleased to confirm the team will return to Barbados for a sixth consecutive pre-season tour in 2016.

In partnership with Smile Group Travel, fans can join Hampshire on their Caribbean travels in March as they head to Barbados to prepare for the 2016 campaign.

It's always a hugely enjoyable trip for us so it’s great that we are returning to the Caribbean in 2016. The conditions and environment out there are perfect to enable us to prepare for next season in the best possible way for what is another big season for the club in all formats.

I would especially like to thank Smile Travel Group for helping us arrange this tour and for providing an excellent package for our fans. The supporters’ backing is absolutely crucial in the early part of the season and it’s something we very much hope we can have in the Caribbean
Giles White, Hampshire Director of Cricket
