Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Ella McCaughan announced as June's Player's Special

Following the launch of the Player's Special at BEEFY'S in April.

The team at BEEFY'S by Lord Botham are excited to launch a new menu concept, The Player's Special. Beginning in April and running through until September, each month will be dedicated to a member of the Hampshire Cricket and Southern Vipers teams.

The BEEFY'S Executive Head Chef and restaurant team had the pleasure of sitting down and interviewing members of the Hampshire Cricket and Southern Vipers squads to discuss their favourite meals, dishes and tastes.

June's Player's Special - Ella McCaughan

We continue our Player's Special with the Southern Viper's opening batter, Ella McCaughan.

Ella is an outstanding opening batter, who joined the Southern Vipers for her debut in August 2020. Aged 17, Ella was the youngest player in the 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy to record two half centuries, marking her with a bright cricketing future. Her impressive record saw her selected for The Ageas Bowl based Southern Brave team for The Hundred in 2021 and again for the 2022 season.
