FirstSight partners with Hampshire Cricket to support young players through Early Engagement Programme

Hampshire Cricket has extended its partnership with FirstSight, the trusted provider of pregnancy and women’s health ultrasound services, to support the club's Early Engagement Programme (EEP).

As part of the partnership, FirstSight will fund three cricket starter kits for the EEP, helping ensure more children have access to the equipment they need to participate in cricket regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

The Early Engagement Programme welcomes children from a wide range of communities across Hampshire, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds who may not have the means to purchase their own cricket kit. While the programme is committed to making cricket accessible to all, resources do not always stretch far enough to provide equipment for every child who requires it.

The new support from FirstSight will help address this challenge by providing shared starter kits that can be used throughout the programme, enabling more children to take part, develop their skills, build confidence, and experience the enjoyment and benefits of cricket.

In addition to supporting the Early Engagement Programme, FirstSight branding will continue to feature prominently around Utilita Bowl, including at the West Gate and on pitch-side advertising boards.

We are incredibly grateful to FirstSight for extending their support of Hampshire Cricket through this partnership. The Early Engagement Programme plays a vital role in introducing young players to Hampshire Cricket and creates opportunities for children who may otherwise face barriers accessing the performance pathway. The donation of these starter kits will make a real difference and help ensure that a more diverse group of players can engage with the Hampshire pathway.
