Hampshire Cricket are Coming to Portsmouth!

Three Hampshire players will be visiting Portsmouth CC

6 May 2015

Hampshire Cricket are coming to Portsmouth Cricket Club!

As part of Hampshire Cricket’s first ever ‘Club of the Month’ event, all-rounder Sean Ervine, batsman Sean Terry and fast-bowler Brad Wheal will all be paying a visit to Portsmouth Cricket Club on Friday 8 May.

New for this year, Hampshire Cricket’s ‘Club of the Month’ initiative aims to help raise the profile of recreational cricket in the county.

Portsmouth Cricket Club (May), Sway Cricket Club (June), East Woodhay Cricket Club (July) and Steep Cricket Club (August) have all been chosen for this season.

I know that all three players are very much looking forward to heading to Portsmouth this Friday and hopefully there will be a good turnout. We hope this initiative will act as a catalyst to raise the profile of recreational cricket across the county, inspiring people of all ages to get along to their local clubs and become involved as players, volunteers and supporters.
