Hampshire Cricket Pays Tribute To Lee Fairchild

Hampshire Cricket would like to express their great sadness at the passing of Lee Fairchild

23 August 2020

Hampshire Cricket would like to express their great sadness at the passing of Lee Fairchild.

Many Hampshire Members and former players will have known Lee from his time operating the Sunshine Cafe, both at the Rose Bowl and the Club's former ground, Northlands Road.

We are all immensely saddened to hear about the tragic passing of Lee Fairchild. He was well known by many Hampshire Members and players for the Sunshine Cafe which he cheerfully ran for many years at Northlands Road and for a time at the Rose Bowl.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and our deepest sympathies are extended, in particular, to Paula, Louise and Doreen at this very difficult time.
Rod Bransgrove, Hampshire Cricket Chairman
