Manny Lumsden Named In England Men U19s Squad For Youth ODIs Against South Africa Men U19s
17-year-old Hampshire quick Manny Lumsden is relishing the chance to showcase his talent against South Africa
Hampshire fast bowler Manny Lumsden has been selected in the England Men U19s squad for the upcoming Youth One-Day International series against South Africa Men U19s.
The call-up is the latest milestone in an outstanding year for the talented seamer, who has continued to impress at both county and international level. Lumsden was a key figure in England's run to the ICC Men's U19 World Cup final earlier this year, finishing the tournament as the leading wicket-taker with 16 wickets, including a memorable five-wicket haul against New Zealand in the Super Six stage.
Having already represented Hampshire's first team and established himself as one of the country's most exciting young pace prospects, Lumsden will now look to carry his excellent form into another international assignment.
England's Youth ODI series against South Africa provides another valuable opportunity for the Young Lions to continue their development against high-quality opposition, with Lumsden hoping to play a leading role with the ball once again.
