Hampshire return to T20 action with a trip to Newport, Wales as Hawks Women take on Glamorgan in the third round of the Vitality T20 County Cup.
The knockout competition was introduced last year, and involves all three tiers of domestic women’s cricket in England and Wales.
Lancashire Thunder won the title last year, whilst the Hawks were defeated by Surrey in a high-scoring affair at Beckenham in their opening fixture.
This time around, the Hawks face Glamorgan who beat Devon by 11 runs and Berkshire by a mammoth 127 runs to reach the third round.
The Welsh outfit will become fully professional and join Hampshire in Tier 1 next season.
The Hawks sit in fourth place in the Tier 1 Vitality Blast whilst Glamorgan are top of the Vitality Blast Women’s League 2 with four wins from five games.
Hawks Women have named a 13-player squad for their Vitality Women’s T20 County Cup match against Glamorgan.
Spinner Ava Lee comes into the squad in place of Amanda-Jade Wellington who isn’t included due to overseas players not being permitted in the T20 County Cup.
Batter Ella McCaughan, who reached her third Hampshire century on Wednesday against Essex is with England A as they take on India A.
Pace bowler Daisy Gibb remains injured.

Glamorgan will be entering Tier 1 next season and are showing they can step up to the next level.
They sit top of the Vitality Blast Women’s League Two, having won four matches – two with a bonus point – and are well placed to reach Finals Day on their home ground on Sunday 12 July.
They are also in prime position in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup Women’s League Two as well having won all four of their matches to date.
Lauren Parfitt leads the way with the bat having scored 412 runs across both competitions, with five fifties to her name.
Daisy Jeanes is also one to watch, with one fifty – an 86 in the Vitality Blast against Derbyshire – and one hundred to her name this season
Winchester-born ex-Hampshire seamer Gemma Porter has picked up 19 wickets to help the Daffodils to top spot.
