Sussex Sharks
Captain: Tymal Mills
Sussex Sharks, are still on the hunt for their second T20 title with their maiden T20 title coming in 2009. However, the Sharks have failed to make it out of the group stage in their last two campaigns. 2024 has started postively though, with five wins from their opening seven matches, including away victories at The Kia Oval and The Cloud County Ground.
Australian batter Daniel Hughes currently leads the side in runs scored with 267 runs and two half-centuries so far. His opening partner, Harrison Ward, and the number three, James Coles, have both impressed and also recorded two scores over fifty in the competition. Tymal Mills, who took over from Ravi Bopara as T20 skipper, spearheads the bowling attack with support from Nathan McAndrew and England Test bowler Ollie Robinson. The spin of Jack Carson has also been a useful weapon, while 19-year-old Archie Lenham is one to watch.
