Hampshire continue their Royal London Cup campaign tomorrow as they face local rivals Sussex Sharks in the latest instalment of ‘el clasicoast’ at The Ageas Bowl.
Kyle Abbott’s side will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s narrow opening-day defeat against Essex as they look to register their first victory in this year’s 50-over competition.
Hampshire Squad:
An unchanged 13-man squad has been announced for Tuesday’s fixture.
Nick Gubbins, Joe Weatherley and Lewis McManus all struck half-centuries in last week’s opening contest and they’ll be hoping to make valuable contributions again with the bat. Scott Currie, one of five List A debutants in the tournament curtain-raiser, also impressed, leading a youthful attack and picking up three wickets with the ball.
James Vince, Liam Dawson, Mason Crane, Chris Wood and Brad Wheal remain absent due to their respective commitments in The Hundred.
