RB Sport & Leisure Holdings Limited can announce a restructure of the RB Sport & Leisure Holdings Group.
As part of the reorganisation and rationalisation, Hampshire Cricket Limited is divesting all domestic cricket related activities to the newly-registered company, Hampshire Cricket Company Limited, with effect from 1st June 2021. At the same time, Hampshire Cricket Limited has been renamed Hampshire Stadium Limited, a company which will amalgamate the operations of several existing group companies and focus on the development and commercial operation of The Ageas Bowl stadium.
Both companies will operate as wholly-owned subsidiaries of RB Sport & Leisure Holdings Limited which, in turn, will seek shareholder approval to change its name to Hampshire Sport & Leisure Holdings Limited as soon as practically possible.
These changes will not in any way impact on the rights and privileges of Hampshire Cricket Members, supporters and spectators. The restructure is designed principally to improve operations through greater clarity of focus and to rationalise the number of companies in the Group.
These changes to the structure of our Group of Companies are the result of an in-depth review and analysis of operations and takes full account of our future ambitions and intentions. In addition to the changes in corporate structure, we are also in the process of supplementing our Boards of Directors with further non-executive support and providing greater experience in key areas.
Rod Bransgrove, RB Sport and Leisure Holdings Ltd Chairman
