The Ageas Bowl Launches Hampshire Wellbeing Centre
The Hampshire Wellbeing Centre, previously Perform at the The Ageas Bowl, has re-launched to begin 2018
The Ageas Bowl is proud to announce the re-launch of the venue’s on-site physiotherapy and sports medicine centre, a facility which has become the Hampshire Wellbeing Centre.
The Hampshire Wellbeing Centre, previously Perform at the The Ageas Bowl, houses a specialist team of physiotherapists who will continue to offer a vast range of services, from physio and sports injury rehabilitation to psychology, and can treat a comprehensive list of ailments and issues.
The Hampshire Wellbeing Centre is open to all and delivers first class medical care to everyone from the Hampshire Cricket team and other elite athletes to the general public, catering for medically insured patients as well as those self-funding.
There have been many developments here at the The Ageas Bowl over the last 4 years and we felt that we wanted to develop our centre in a way that reflected this.
Hampshire Wellbeing Centre still offers all the services that it did before, but we are bringing in many new classes in 2018, including rehabilitation classes, pre and post operation classes for anyone about to, or having had, an operation, and exercise classes for the older population.
We will be working closely with Boundary Lakes Golf Club to help people maximise their game and stay injury free and we are increasing the number of Pilates classes on offer. However, our team of Specialist Physiotherapists, who have over 120 years of clinical experience between them, remain unchanged and we will continue to offer exceptional care to all of our clients.
Dan Young, Head Of Sports Medicine
The centre also caters for medically insured patients as the centre is registered with all health care providers including BUPA, AXA-PPP, Vitality and Aviva.
