Utilita Bowl Wins Three Prizes At ECB's Business Of Cricket Awards

The venue claimed the Sponsorship Campaign of the Year, Transforming the Women’s Game & Best Spectator Experience – Women’s International awards

Utilita Bowl picked up three prizes at the ECB’s 2024 Business of Cricket Awards – Sponsorship Campaign of the Year, Transforming the Women's Game and Best Spectator Experience – Women’s International.

The awards took place at Edgbaston and reward innovation and best practice across the professional game, shining a light on the work that First-Class Counties and MCC do to grow the sport and deliver unforgettable experiences for fans.

Utilita Bowl's ground-breaking partnership with Utilita Energy, which saw over 1,000 solar panels installed at the venue, was the first of it's kind and won the Sponsorship Campaign of the Year award.

The venue's focus on growing women’s cricket saw it recognised for ‘Project Double It’, which resulted in Utilita Bowl becoming the first venue to sell out consecutive England Women’s international fixtures and crowned winners of the Transforming the Women’s Game and the Best Spectator Experience – Women’s International awards.

Huge congratulations to all of this year’s BOCA winners. It has been a privilege to celebrate the very best of the work carried out by First-Class Counties and MCC across England and Wales this year.

The innovation and dedication shown has been truly inspiring. It’s fantastic to see the impact of Hampshire’s extensive efforts in growing the women’s game, Warwickshire’s continued commitment to sustainability, Lancashire’s ground-breaking digital strategy, and so much more. All this work shows a real commitment across the game to becoming bigger, better and more inclusive.
