Tickets

A number of tickets for Day Four's evening session will be available to purchase on the gate from £20 for Adults and £5 for U17s from 3:40pm.


 Getting Here & Parking

The roads around the The Ageas Bowl are likely to be busy throughout the Test Match, so please allow plenty of time for your journey. 

Please only drive to the The Ageas Bowl if you have a pre-booked car parking pass.

Free shuttle buses will be running from Southampton Airport Parkway & Hedge End Stations.

Travel Update – Rail Services

Please be aware even with the rail strikes taking place during the Test Match, trains will be running to Southampton Airport Parkway and Hedge End Stations from all directions. Trains will be busy so please give yourself plenty of time.

A free shuttle service will transport you from the train station to the ground as normal.

Opening & Closing Times

Gates will open at 9:00am each day with England v India set to commence at 11:00am.

Please note, all bags will be searched upon arrival.

Turnstiles at the West Gate will be available for those entering the ground without bags.

The Matchday Ticket Office will be open from 8am for any ticket collections or queries.

The Ageas Bowl Shop will be open from 9:00am until 30 minutes after the close of play.

The post-match entertainment will commence just after the last ball of the day has been bowled and last for approximately 60 minutes.

Food and Drink

Food will be available to purchase upon gates opening at 9:00am.

Food will be served in the Arlott Atrium (within the Rod Bransgrove Pavilion) - bacon and egg rolls available from 9am, with a lunch menu served 12pm-3pm.

A wide variety will also be available to purchase around the ground, including Sanjha’s famous Punjabi cuisine located under the Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie Stand and Donna Italia Pizzas situated under the Shane Warne Stand as well as burgers, hot dogs, fish and chips, pulled pork and chinese cuisine to name but a few.

Alcohol will be served from 10am, with an array of bars located around the ground.

Please note, no alcohol can be brought into the ground, only alcohol purchased on-site may be consumed.

The Ageas Bowl operates a strict ‘Challenge 25’ alcohol policy and as such anyone deemed to look Under 25 will be asked to provide photographic proof of their age, prior to being served alcohol.

If you have pre-booked a matchday hamper, these will be available to collect from the East Terrace (outside of the Arlott Atrium) from 9:00am each day.


Free Activities & Entertainment

The giant inflatables, climbing wall and laser quest are all located on the Hilltop Terrace (adjacent to the Matchday Ticket Office), while the power hitting and catching challenge will be located on the East Berm.

Facepainting will be available in and around the gates on arrival each day, before being available on the East Berm later in the day.

Live music and dancing will be taking place on the West Berm stage pre-game, during breaks in play and also after the final ball has been bowled.

 Programmes & Scorecards

Programmes and scorecards will be available from the sellers around the ground from 9:00am, priced at £6 for programmes and £1 for scorecards.

Earpieces, offering live commentary feeds for both TMS and Sky Sports will also be on sale from 9:00am from sellers around the ground. 


Shop

The Ageas Bowl Shop (located under the Shane Warne Stand) opens at 9am and will be fully stocked with England's New Balance kit as well as a whole host of England and India supporters' wear.

Legendary commentator Henry Blofeld will be holding a book signing in the Shop during Day One of the Test - head along to meet the iconic personality.

There will also be satellite shops selling Oakley Sunglasses and Gray-Nicolls bats, located on the East Berm.

Additional Information & Prohibited Items

Cash can be withdrawn from ATMs which will be located at the East and West Ends of the CIM and Shane Warne stands respectively.

Water fountains will be available in the above locations too.

Prohibited Items include - Alcohol, Glass, Cans, Musical Instruments, Flares, Laser Devices, Air Horns, Fireworks, Weapons, Whistles
