Activations Confirmed For Charlotte Edwards Cup Match Against The Blaze
Activations have been confirmed for Southern Vipers’ standalone Charlotte Edwards Cup match against The Blaze on Saturday 18th May
Southern Vipers kick off their Charlotte Edwards Cup title defence at Utilita Bowl on Saturday 18th May when they take on last year’s finalists, The Blaze.
The Vipers play three CEC matches at Utilita Bowl, including two double headers with Hampshire Hawks on 30th May and 14th June, with trips to Arundel Castle and the 1st Central County Ground in Hove also on the agenda.
For the standalone match on Saturday 18th May, Vipers fans will be welcomed into the ground by DJ Vin at West Gate who will also be present for all of Hampshire Hawks’ home matches at Utilita Bowl.
There will also be a Family Fun Zone present on the Hilltop Terrace with activations from Energise Sports, which will include cricket and garden game activities.
Fans are also welcome to gather at the bottom of the Colin Ingelby Mackenzie and Shane Warne Stands for selfies and autographs with the players at the end of the match.
Southern Vipers includes a host of your favourite England and Hundred stars, including Georgia Adams, Freya Kemp, Linsey Smith, Charlie Dean, and Maia Bouchier.
The team are the most successful women’s side in the country, with six trophies to their name – including both the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and Charlotte Edwards Cup from 2023.
Gates will open at 1:30pm ahead of the start time of 2:30pm, with both the RHFT and CEC trophies on display on the East Berm from 1:30pm until the first ball, where fans are welcome to have their picture taken with both pieces of silverware.
Tickets for Saturday’s Charlotte Edwards Cup opener are just £10 for adults and £5 for Under 17s both when booked online and on the gate.
