Lauren Bell, Freya Kemp, Maia Bouchier, and Linsey Smith have all been named in England Women’s squads to tour South Africa
Hampshire Women’s England contingent of Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Freya Kemp, and Linsey Smith will feature in South Africa.
The quartet have been named in England’s squads to tour South Africa, which consists of three IT20s, three ODIs, and one Test match, running from Saturday 24 November to Wednesday 18 December.
Kemp, 19, has been awarded her maiden Test call-up, where she will join Lauren Bell and Maia Bouchier in the squad for the one-off Test match on 15 December.
Bell, Bouchier, and Kemp are also included in England’s ODI squad, whilst spinner Linsey Smith is named in the IT20 squad, alongside the trio.
All four players will feature for Hampshire Women in 2025 as domestic women’s cricket in England and Wales is now aligned with the men’s First-Class Counties (FCCs).
They will play in the Women’s Vitality Blast, and Women’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup, with the final of the latter competition being held at Utilita Bowl on Sunday 21 September 2025.
All four players were included in England Women’s T20 World Cup squad in the UAE; Bouchier was England’s second leading run scorer, with 107 runs, whilst Smith and Bell took three and one wicket(s) respectively.
