Southern Vipers currently sit third in the table as they head north to take on last year’s Charlotte Edwards Cup finalists Central Sparks, and 2022 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy winners Northern Diamonds.
Having made the final in the previous tournament, the Sparks currently sit in seventh place with just one win from their four matches, with their sole victory coming against bottom-of-the-table Sunrisers.
The Diamonds meanwhile continue to sit in the top half of the table, as they currently lie in second place, just one point behind The Blaze, having won all four of their matches, although the two table-toppers take each other on at Chester-le-Street on Friday afternoon.
Last time out, the Vipers cruised to victory against Thunder, with Ella McCaughan making her best Charlotte Edwards Cup score of 42 on her return to the side, after an exemplary performance in the field saw six catches taken, and four run outs completed.
