Hampshire welcome Derbyshire to Utilita Bowl for their final home match of the 2024 Metro Bank One Day Cup group stages on Wednesday.

Coming off the back of a third win in four matches during the competition so far, Hampshire currently sit in fourth place in Group A.

Meanwhile, Derbyshire have won four out of their five matches which is enough to put them top of the group by two points.

The two sides last met in 2022 where Toby Albert made an unbeaten 84 to inspire the Rose & Crown to victory.

Hampshire have named a 13-player squad for their match against Derbyshire.

Joe Weatherley remains available, while John Turner has returned to Trent Rockets.

Kyle Abbott remains out after missing the match against Lancashire.

Ali Orr, who picked up an injury at the beginning of the Vitality Blast, returns to the squad but is not expected to play yet.

Derbyshire

Having failed to qualify in their last three One Day Cup campaigns, Derbyshire have made a stellar start to the competition in 2024 with four wins from their five matches so far. They started with three consecutive wins over Northamptonshire Steelbacks, Middlesex and Lancashire, before suffering defeat to Worcestershire Rapids. However, they were able to bounce back in their last match with a tense one wicket victory over Somerset to take them top of Group A.

Zak Chappell has been the key player so far, taking 12 wickets so far as well as averaging 71 with the bat – which includes an unbeaten 94 in their opening match. Both openers, Harry Came and Luis Reece, have scored over 200 runs so far, while Anuj Dal marked his first match of the competition so far with a century last time out. Bowler Pat Brown has also impressed taking five wickets in just two matches.
