The Ageas Bowl
Hampshire return to The Ageas Bowl this week to take on Northamptonshire in the LV= Insurance County Championship.
The two sides have already met this season when Hampshire picked up their biggest ever victory over Northamptonshire, beating them by an innings and 270 runs. Skipper James Vince (186) and Nick Gubbins (125) both scored centuries with the bat, and James Fuller recorded figures of 6-37 during the reverse fixture.
Currently, after the opening five matches, Hampshire sit in fourth place and Northamptonshire occupy bottom spot in Division One.
Hampshire Squad
Hampshire have named a 12-player squad for the match against Northamptonshire.
John Turner and Mason Crane have been included in the squad for the first time this season, replacing Tom Prest and Kyle Abbott who picked up a knock against Kent.
James Fuller was impressive in last week’s draw in Canterbury, picking up a five-for and a half century, while Joe Weatherley (58) and Liam Dawson (84) also scored runs.
