Record-Breaking Demand For England v Pakistan At The Ageas Bowl

The Ageas Bowl will host the second 50-over fixture of the five-match series between England and Pakistan next May

The Ageas Bowl has seen unprecedented demand for tickets to next year’s Royal London ODI between England and Pakistan, after record-breaking sales followed the commencement of a priority on-sale period last week.

The home of Hampshire Cricket will host the second 50-over fixture of the five-match series between the two sides next May, and the priority period which opened last Thursday (4th October) has received overwhelming interest, with more priority tickets sold than for any other previous ODI or IT20 fixture staged at the venue.

This early demand follows hot on the heels of a thrilling Test Match contested by England and India at the The Ageas Bowl in August, where more than 50,000 fans attended across four-days of action.

The opening day of priority access this year also saw more tickets sold for next year’s one ODI than for all days of the England v India Test Match combined last year.

Following the conclusion of the priority booking period, tickets will be released for general sale on Wednesday 10th October (10am) - the same day as England’s first ODI of the winter where Hampshire’s Liam Dawson will be hoping to take to the field against Sri Lanka in Dambulla - where this early demand is expected to continue.

After the overwhelming success of this year’s Test match between England and India at the The Ageas Bowl, it’s very pleasing to see this unprecedented demand continuing through our priority on-sale period ahead of next summer’s ODI.

Alongside five ICC Cricket World Cup fixtures coming to the south coast next year, we’re looking forward to hosting what is sure to be another excellent summer of International cricket here at the The Ageas Bowl in 2019

David Mann, The Ageas Bowl Chief Executive Officer

Tickets are priced from just £40 for Adults and £15 for U17s, however the lowest-priced seats are expected to be snapped up quickly this week.

Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone on 0844 847 1863 or in person from the The Ageas Bowl Ticketing and Membership Office during normal working hours from Wednesday.

Situated an hour or less away from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Reading, the The Ageas Bowl is easily accessible for anyone living in the South of England. With excellent transport links from all major train stations and ferry terminals in the area, as well as a Park & Ride Scheme, it couldn’t be easier to get to and from the ground.
