Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Statement: Hampshire Cricket Response To CDC Pitch Regulation Sanction

Hampshire were sanctioned by a Cricket Discipline Commission Panel for allegedly breaching the ECB Pitch Regulations

In response to the recent CDC sanction for allegedly breaching ECB pitch regulations, a Hampshire Cricket spokesperson said:

We were disappointed to read the Summary Report of the Cricket Disciplinary Committee of 6^th September, relating to a pitch mark of ‘Below Average’ for the LV=Insurance County Championship match between Hampshire and Essex on 25-27th July 2023 at The Ageas Bowl.

Under all of the circumstances we have concluded that we should await receipt of the formal, fully reasoned decision before making any further comment on the matter.
