Bargate Announces New Partnership With Utilita Bowl And Hampshire Cricket
The partnership will run for over two years, strengthening Bargate’s presence within one of Hampshire’s most recognisable sporting destinations.
England Women take on New Zealand in an IT20 at Utilita Bowl on Saturday 6th July and will play in front of a packed-out crowd.
The popularity in women’s cricket at the venue continues after last year’s Ashes ODI was played in front of a record crowd for a women’s fixture at the home of Hampshire Cricket.

Saturday will be the first of five IT20s between England and New Zealand Women, having played out a three match ODI series during the last week where the hosts completed a clean sweep.
Heather Knight captains a 16-player squad for the IT20 series, which includes six Southern Vipers who are based at Utilita Bowl – Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Charlie Dean, Freya Kemp, Linsey Smith and Danni Wyatt.
In the last few days, Bouchier recorded her maiden century in internationals with 100* at Worcester, whilst Bell claimed career-best figures of 5-37 in the third and final ODI.
Last year, the ECB awarded Utilita Bowl with a string of future women’s internationals – including a first-ever women’s Ashes Test in 2031.
