Match Preview: Hampshire v Warwickshire - Specsavers County Championship
Hampshire have named a 12-man squad for their upcoming four-day fixture at the The Ageas Bowl
Hampshire look to record back-to-back four-day victories when they host Warwickshire in this week’s Specsavers County Championship clash at the The Ageas Bowl.
Hampshire Squad:
Hampshire have named a 12-man squad for this fixture, with Jimmy Adams and Ian Holland featuring once again having been named in the squad that travelled to Taunton to face Somerset last week.
Trialist, Matt Salisbury, is also included, whilst James Vince and Liam Dawson are unavailable for this fixture due to their international commitments with England Lions.
The Opposition:
Warwickshire have begun their 2017 Specsavers County Championship campaign indifferently, picking up two draws and two defeats in their four matches so far to sit seventh in the Division One standings.
Ian Bell’s side impressed during their last outing, despite being unable to force a victory, as Jonathan Trott (175) struck a patient century against Somerset – the visiting skipper will be hoping that his team’s positive showing will continue heading into this fixture.
