Southern Vipers have named their squad as they aim to bring the Charlotte Edwards Cup home for the third year running

Southern Vipers appear in their fourth Charlotte Edwards Cup Finals Day on Saturday.
The reigning champions will take on South East Stars at 2:30pm, with the winner progressing into the final at 6:45pm.
On Wednesday, the Vipers decimated the Stars with a 113-run win at the 1st Central County Ground, with Maia Bouchier smashing her T20 best score of 93, whilst Linsey Smith and Charlie Dean both took three wickets to help skittle the visitors for just 66.
However, in the reverse fixture, the Stars reigned victorious at the Kia Oval when they completed a comfortable six-wicket win.
The winner between the two sides will go on to play either The Blaze or Central Sparks, whose semi-final kicks off at 11am.

Southern Vipers have named a 14-player squad for Finals Day.
The six players named in England Women’s IT20 squad yesterday to take on New Zealand are all included, with Lauren Bell and Georgia Elwiss the only additions to an otherwise unchanged squad that beat South East Stars on Wednesday.

The Stars will be shaken by their defeat on Wednesday, but they will be buoyed with returning faces in Sophia Dunkley, Phoebe Franklin, Georgia Redmayne, and even Alice Capsey.
They completed a comfortable victory against table-topping Blaze by five wickets, but were defeated by the Sparks in a thrilling final-over contest.

The Blaze
The Blaze will be on home soil as they look to go one step further than last year where they were defeated by the Vipers at Worcester.
They were unbeaten until 16th June when they were defeated by five wickets at the hands of the Stars, and they have both the leading run scorer – Kathryn Bryce – and wicket taker – Kirstie Gordon – in their team.
