Match Preview: Hampshire Hawks v Victoria, GSL 2024
Hampshire Hawks take on Victoria in their final group match of the Global Super League
The Southern Vipers will kick off their Charlotte Edwards Cup campaign at 2:30pm on Saturday 14th May against the Thunder in Hove.
The reigning Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy champions will then return to The Ageas Bowl for a floodlit evening game against the Lightning which starts at 6:30pm on Wednesday 18th May.
Two away fixtures follow against the Northern Diamonds (2:30pm, Saturday 21st May) and the Lightning (11:00am, Sunday 29th May) before another match under lights at Old Trafford against the Thunder (6:30pm, Wednesday 1st June).
The Vipers then host the Northern Diamonds at The Ageas Bowl at 2:30pm on Saturday 4th June ahead of the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend double header as the Hampshire Hawks take on Sussex Sharks in ‘el clasicoast’ at 7:00pm.
All Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches retain their start time of 10:30am, with the Vipers first making the trip to the West Midlands to take on Central Sparks on Saturday 2nd July.
Another journey across the south coast to Hove on Saturday 9th July sees the Vipers challenge the South East Stars before they make their way to Derby to face the Lightning on Saturday 16th July.
A week later, the Vipers are back at The Ageas Bowl against the Sunrisers on Saturday 23rd July before the break for The Hundred.
Once the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy resumes, two back-to-back home games against the Western Storm (Friday 9th September, Hove) and the Thunder (Sunday 11th September, The Ageas Bowl) take place before the final RHFT group match with a trip to Headingley to take on last year’s finalists the Northern Diamonds on Saturday 17th September.
The semi-final eliminator will take place on Wednesday 21st September with the second placed team hosting third place, before the final on Sunday 25th September at Lord’s.
