Hand Therapy is a speciality which provides expert assessment and holistic rehabilitation for acute and chronic hand, wrist or elbow conditions. It can include many different treatment options which are tailored to the individual patient’s need after a throughout assessment of structure, movement and function.

Hand and arm injuries are frequently complex in nature and can cause significant difficulties in completing day to day activities. Your initial appointment will involve a comprehensive assessment of upper limb function including movement, strength and sensation. This will include a detailed assessment of the structures of the upper limb and where appropriate testing of muscles, tendons, ligament and nerves.
