The Grounds Management Association (GMA), in partnership with Hampshire Cricket Board, is offering a practical Match Pitch Preparation and Recovery course this May – delivered by our experienced County Pitch Advisors.

Ideal for grounds volunteers, club staff, and anyone involved in cricket pitch maintenance, the course offers hands-on learning and expert advice tailored to club-level facilities.

Level 2 Scorer Course

Are you an ECB ACO-accredited Level 1 scorer looking to expand your experience? This course is designed for those considering scoring matches for multiple clubs and taking on new, longer formats of the game. While it does not cover additional scoring techniques, it focuses on the essential planning, preparation, and additional duties a scorer may need to perform away from their home club.

Role Vacancy: Level 4 Sports Coach Apprenticeship

The Level 4 Sports Coach Apprenticeship will assist with coaching and community engagement across all HCB’s programmes and projects. The role is aimed at a coach who would like to broaden their knowledge across a variety of delivery areas but will specialise in School Sport Coaching. The apprenticeship will focus on the acceleration of sustainable mastery of children’s psychomotor skills and wider physical education standards.

Disability Cricket Programme: D40 Training Sessions

If you're ready to take your game to the next level, come along to our D40 Disability Cricket training sessions at the Utilita Bowl Indoor School this February and March. This opportunity is open to anyone with a disability who plays hardball cricket within their respective clubs and wants to get involved in the County Disability Cricket setup.
