SEND Table Cricket Competition Brings Schools Together in Hampshire

Hampshire Cricket Board proudly hosted the Lord’s Taverners Hampshire SEND Table Cricket Competition on Wednesday 21 January at Treloar’s College, celebrating the launch of the county’s first-ever Table Cricket hub.

The event brought together seven SEND schools from across Hampshire, with around 55 young people taking part in a day of inclusive and accessible cricket. Participants represented a wide range of disabilities and embraced the opportunity to compete, socialise and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.

Baycroft School emerged as overall winners and will now progress to the regional Lord’s Taverners Table Cricket competition, set to take place in Crawley in March 2026. Hampshire Cricket Board congratulates the team on their achievement and wishes them the very best of luck at the next stage.

The day marked an important milestone for disability cricket in the county, with the new Table Cricket hub providing a central base to grow participation and strengthen connections across Hampshire’s SEND provision.
