The ECB County Grants Fund supports ECB affiliated cricket clubs in creating more welcoming, inclusive environments - with a focus on women’s cricket, girls’ cricket and disability cricket.
The fund helps clubs improve facilities and grow participation, supporting the ECB’s vision for cricket to become the most inclusive team sport (Inspiring Generations 2025–28).
Since 2021, we have invested £557,000 into 67 projects across 44 Hampshire clubs.
Our webinar helps affiliated clubs understand the 2026 fund, eligibility, and how to submit a strong application. Please click here to download the slidedeck (which includes a new funding page).

Priority will be given to applications from clubs with an established women’s section, girls’ section, and/or clubs who offer disability cricket.
To apply, clubs must have a Women & Girls Action Plan in place which is either referenced within, or incorporated into a wider Club Development Plan.
A template is available below:
Applications will be prioritised across two main rounds:
Round 1
Priority will be given to clubs who have not previously received an ECB County Grants Fund award.
Round 2
Additional rounds may take place later in the season for end of season or post season projects if funding remains available
Clubs may apply for an ECB Interest Free Loan as part of the County Grants Fund application process.
We recommend clubs review the ECB guidance before submitting an Expression of Interest through the ECB Investment Management System (IMS).
