The Super 9s programme is the first step into our elite disability cricket pathway, providing structured, competitive cricket for players progressing beyond the Super 1s programme.

Super 9s Development Squad

The Super 9s Development Squad offers a welcoming and supportive environment where players, identified through the Super 1s programme, can further develop their skills.

  • Inclusive & Relaxed: A focus on learning and enjoyment in a casual setting.
  • Festival-Based Format: The squad competes in pairs matches against other counties.
  • Pathway Progression: Provides valuable experience in a lightly competitive format, helping players transition further into the disability performance pathway.

Super 9s Main Squad

The Super 9s Main Squad competes in the ECB South-East Regional League, playing matches that follow standard cricket laws, with appropriate adaptations to accommodate all abilities.

  • Competitive 30-Over Format: Matches are played with 9-11 players per side.
  • Regional Champions: The top two teams in the league compete for the championship title.
  • Skill & Strategy: Players apply their cricketing knowledge in structured, competitive fixtures.
