Wicketz
Wicketz is a FREE community cricket programme, funded by Lord’s Taverners, giving all young people the opportunity to enjoy cricket in their local community. Aimed at boys and girls aged 8–19, the programme offers free, year round weekly cricket sessions, flagship events and festivals, and themed life-skill workshops designed to support personal development on and off the field.
Launched in 2018, the Southampton Wicketz programme has grown rapidly, creating several thriving hubs across the city. Each week, we engage over 100 young people at our sessions, bringing them together to play, learn, and grow through the game of cricket.
