Hampshire Cricket Board (HCB) have produced an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, which outlines the key actions we will take to ‘provide a cricketing future for all’ and make cricket in Hampshire a ‘truly inclusive and diverse sport’.
Whilst the Plan will evolve over time, it sets out the initial important steps that will be taken to make cricket in Hampshire welcoming for all.
The ECB Anti-Discrimination Regulations are part of the continuing efforts to maintain the integrity, diversity and inclusivity of cricket. The Regulations therefore set out discriminatory behaviour which, when carried out by a participant who is required to comply with them, will be a breach of the Regulations.
HCB have adopted the Regulations, meaning it applies to all competitions, affiliated clubs and organisations under its auspices.
We stand against discrimination in all its forms and are committed to ensuring that cricket is a game for everyone. If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination you can report it to the Cricket Regulator.
Any reports will then be triaged by the Cricket Regulator and investigated by the relevant cricket organisation.
