Women's Hardball

With teams across the county and indoor and outdoor competitions, there's plenty of opportunities for all abilities to get involved in hardball cricket.

Hampshire Cricket League

The Hampshire Cricket League (HCL) is administered by the HCL committee, with input from clubs via the women's sub-committee.

There are three divisions, with Division 3 divided into two regional competitions offering reduced numbers per side and overs, ideal for players starting out.

Many HCL clubs enter the ECB National T20 Competition and in 2023, St Cross Symondians CC were crowned champions.

Hampshire Slam

The Hampshire Slam is a T20 competition, designed to inspire women playing in Division 2 and 3, culminating in a Finals Day at Utilita Bowl.

The Hampshire Slam is a short format competition, providing clubs with the opportunity to broaden their cricket offering for the forthcoming season. 

The Slam is open for women playing no higher than Division 2 in the Hampshire Cricket League.

Indoor Cricket

Over the winter, two indoor leagues operate:

• Serious Cricket Indoor League @ Dummer Cricket Centre
• South Hampshire Indoor Cricket League @ Places for Leisure, Eastleigh
