MCC Foundation Hubs
Hampshire Cricket Board deliver a wide range of opportunities for young people across the county. The MCC Foundation 'Hub' programme forms part of our 'urban' programmes and is a free-to-access cricket training and coaching programme for state-educated, talented players.
Following a free, 15-hour winter programme, we offer local and regional fixtures as well as entering the national hub competition, managed by the MCC Foundation.
The programme in Hampshire has progressed from delivering successful programmes for girls and boys in Southampton and girls squads in Basingstoke, to now offering girls and boys programmes in each of Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke.
In 2025, 48 boys and 78 girls accessed the programme, with Southampton U16 girls and boys squads both progressing to the quarter final of the national cup, making it our most successful season yet.
